Important Notice:
School district 227’s “Self-administration of medication under supervision” policy requires
a written order from the doctor and written permission from the parent in order for a student
to take prescription or non-prescription medication during the school day. This policy is in effect for all students.
All medications must be kept in the health office. The only exception to this is the asthma inhaler. Medication forms and inhaler forms may be obtained from the nurse.
